Creating a childhood and opportunity for orphans in rural Uganda
Cows in 2013 The Blue House purchased two dairy cows, thanks to a grant from St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church and a fundraiser by John Wathum-Ocama. The girls have enough milk for their own consumption, and they can sell some to provide income.
Each of the cows had a calf. The heifer calf will be kept for milk, and the bull will be sold after a year. Right: Ovia milks Patience the cow, while the calf waits impatiently.
